Coal project

Beacon Hill Resources, through its subsidiary BHR Mining Limited, owns and operates the Minas Moatize coal mine in Mozambique.[2]

In April 2013 Platts reported that Beacon Hill Resources reported in its quarterly activities report that it had reached an agreement with the Mozambican government "allowing the government a 5% equity stake in the Minas Moatize coking coal project and giving it the option to acquire another 10% interest at fair market price."
