Find or fix a stub

List of stubs needing fixing

The pages listed below are stub articles. A stub is a short, essentially content-free page created to fill out the article title space, serve as a target for wiki links, and/or prompt the creation of needed articles.

When you create a stub, add it to the list below. Also add a link to this page to the stub (So stub fillers will know to delete the listing on this page).

If you fix a stub by adding content to make it a real article, delete it from the list below and delete its link to this page. Before expanding a stub, use the SourceWatch search to check for a real article on the subject with a different name (for example a person's name with, or without, a middle initial). In such a case, make the stub a redirect page for the existing article.

Related SourceWatch Pages

  • Special:Shortpages. These are likely to be stubs.
  • Special:Lonelypages. Orphan pages with no links. These may be suitable for rescue as stubs, then full articles.
  • Special:Wantedpages. Articles have linked to nonexistent pages with these titles. Many are variant forms of the titles of existing articles which need to be fixed or redirected.
