A biographical note on Solid Energy's website states that "is a director and principal of Hill Young Cooper Ltd, which specialises in resource management and public policy consulting services. She is a director of two local authority trading enterprises, Auckland Regional Transport Network Ltd and ARTNL Harbour Berths Ltd. Mrs Young Cooper is a member of the New Zealand Planning Institute, the Institute of Directors and the Resource Management Law Association."
