"An Egyptian blogger and political activist, Ahmad Badawy is also one of the founders and a member of the high committee of the El Ghad (“Tomorrow”) Party, which was granted a license in 2004.
"Ahmad is also a Program Director for the Egyptian Democratic Academy (EDA), a non-profit organization that strives to promote the values of democracy, human rights, political participation, and freedom of expression.
"Previously, Ahmad worked as a new media officer with Dr. Ayman Nour, and was also jailed for a month during the 6th of April protests in Egypt in 2008." [1]
