Biographical Information
"Alan Botterill was Managing Director, EMEA, for global professional services firm Towers Perrin's Human Capital business until the beginning of 2010. He worked as a consulting actuary for over 25 years with Towers Perrin and served on its Board for six years. Before that he worked for over 10 years with Standard Life Assurance Company of Edinburgh, specialising in pension and investment issues. He is currently a member of the Disciplinary Board of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and has served on its Professional Affairs and Pensions Boards, as well as having been a member of the Council of the Faculty of Actuaries. Alan brings considerable pensions and HR expertise and experience to NatCen." [1]
