Professor Sir Alan Peacock (died 2014) was an economist and was born in 1922. He was the founder of the David Hume Institute and served on the E.G. West Centre, the Electronic Journal of Sustainable Development[1] and the Global Warming Policy Foundation. He has also been Vice Chancellor (President) of the UK's only independent university, Buckingham University.[1]
