Climate Change Skeptic
Lupo agrees that temperatures have been rising over the past thirty years, stating that "anyone who denies this [climate change] isn’t a very good scientist." [1] What remains in dispute, according to Lupo, is whether anthropogenic sources are the cause of this global warming. Although Lupo was actually a reviewer of the most recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, he disputes the scientific consensus established in the report that "the balance of evidence suggests a discernible human influence on global climate." [2] Lupo denies that his skeptical viewpoint on climate change is linked to his politically conservative leanings, despite a profusion of links to conservative websites on his homepage, including links to conservative think tanks who are also global warming deniers. Anthony Lupo is a speaker at the America First Energy Conference to be held on November 9th, 2017. [1]
