Biographical Information
"Ashley Farnan, Program Associate at the International Center for Nonviolent Conflict, first joined the ICNC team as an intern in January 2012. Prior to ICNC she interned with the Truman National Security Project and worked as a research and editing consultant to academics in southern California.
"Ashley graduated from Smith College in May 2010 with a B.A. in the Study of Women & Gender and International Development. She focused largely on women, peace and security issues, particularly as a Peacekeeping Intern with the PeaceWomen Project of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF). She lived and studied abroad in Uganda in 2010, where she conducted independent research analyzing gender dimensions of post-conflict reconstruction in Northern Uganda."[1]
