Background
Atmos Pipeline Texas is an intrastate natural gas transmission pipeline network and storage company. We are one of the largest intrastate pipeline operations with approximately 5,600 miles of transmission pipelines within the state of Texas. The system connects to natural gas production areas in central, north, west and east Texas. It includes five underground gas storage facilities in Texas and provides transportation and storage services to local distribution companies - including Atmos Energy's Mid-TX Division and transportation services to industrial and power generation customers, gas marketers and producers.[1]
