BP Alternative Energy is a unit within BP with the remit of investing in "solar, wind, hydrogen and combined-cycle-gas-turbine (CCGT) power generation". BP Alternative Energy was formed in November 2005 and is headquartered in Sunbury, Middlesex.[1]
