"Ms. Walker was active in two World Federalist Associations (WFA, now Citizens for Global Solutions) chapters before going to South America with her husband, a Foreign Service Officer and their six children. There she was a clinic aide and did community development work in Brazil and Chile. After returning, she worked as a teacher, administrator and university admissions counselor at the Washington International School.
"Since retiring and moving to Princeton, she has served on the Advisory Board of Washington International School. Currently she represents the International Schools Association at the UN. In 1996 she co-founded the Committee on Teaching About the UN and currently serves as its Chair Emeritus.
"In addition to compiling two books for WFA and WFM: On the Bicentennial of the United States Constitution (1987), and Uniting the Peoples and Nations (1993), she also co-authored, with Rik Panganiban, the WFA and WFM Fiftieth Anniversary histories. She worked with WFM to publish a translation of a history of world federalist movements written by French federalist and WFM Council member Jean-Francis Billion, World Federalism, European Federalism and International Democracy published in 1997. She lives in Princeton, New Jersey and Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
