Background
Barca LNG Terminal is a proposed LNG terminal in Texas, United States.[2] Though the LNG project has applied for and received US Department of Energy export licenses for Free Trade Agreement countries,[3] it has not initiated Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) filling, permitting that is required for the project to move forward. Thus, at least one source says the project is currently dormant. [4]
The project is presumed cancelled.
