Bhomra-Khulna Gas Transmission Pipeline is a proposed natural gas pipeline in Bangladesh.[1] It is also known as the Satkhira (Bhomra)–Khulna (Aronghata) gas transmission pipeline project.[2]

Background

The Satkhira (Bhomra)-Khulna (Aronghata) gas transmission pipeline will be operated by GTCL, a subsidiary of Petrobangla.[1] According to GTCL's 2017-2018 annual report, the project's route survey was already in progress. The pipeline will supply gas to the national grid and Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) from India.[3]

The project was scheduled to start in July 2019.[4] Construction is scheduled to be complete in June 2022.[1]
