Background

Brindisi LNG Terminal was a proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal in Apulia, Italy. It was a 50-50 joint project of BG Group and Enel, before Enel backed out and BG Group took full ownership.[1][2][3]

After years of delays, BG announced in 2012 that it was shelving the project indefinitely.[4][5]
