Burnett Coal is an Australian coal company.
The company has an interest in the Monto coal mine, which is located 120 km south of Gladstone. The project, which has been subject to a feasibility study, is proposed to produce 1.2 million tonnes of thermal coal a year and cost $35m to construct. A second stage of the project is investigating the possibility of expanding production to 10 million tonnes of coal per annum.[1]
