Background

The 310-mile, 20-inch-diameter Cactus pipeline delivers sweet and sour crude oil from the Permian Basin to the Plains All American Pipeline-Enterprise Products Partners Eagle Ford joint venture pipeline.[3]

In January 2017, Plains All American Pipeline announced it was expanding the capacity of the Cactus pipeline from 200,000 bpd to 390,000 bpd.[3]
