[3]The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) authorized the Calhoun LNG in 2007; this permit required the terminal commence service within 5 years. However, in 2012, Calhoun LNG filed with FERC to abandon its plans for the Calhoun LNG.[4]
