Background

Canatxx LNG Terminal is a proposed LNG terminal in Wales, UK.[1] The project has received "significant local opposition."[2]

In 2013 consultancy firm Barton Willmore submitted a proposal to build the terminal on behalf of Amlwch LNG.[3]

As of March 2019 there has been no further progress and the project appears to be cancelled.
