Biographical Information
"Caroline Casey (ROI) is the founding CEO of Kanchi and the 02 Ability Awards. An international speaker and adventurer, Caroline sits on the boards of several government, business and not-for-profit organizations. She has received several high profile awards in recognition of her work enhancing the relationship between disability and society. Caroline was the first Irish person appointed a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum (2006). She was awarded an honorary doctorate by NUI Ireland in 2006 and became the recipient of an Ashoka and Eisenhower Fellowship. Caroline trekked across India on elephant back and became the first western female, Indian-trained mahout. Her trek was documented in the National Geographic documentary "Elephant Vision". "[1]
