Center For Social Inclusion
The Center For Social Inclusion (CSI) "was founded by Maya Wiley, a civil rights lawyer and advocate, and Jocelyn Sargent, a political scientist. Prior to founding CSI, both worked in various governmental and non-governmental organizations on issues of race and poverty for more than a decade. They met at the Open Society Institute, where they identified work and strategies to dismantle structural and institutional racism...
"With the generous support of the Open Society Institute and the Ford Foundation, CSI was founded to link research and advocacy to build capacity in communities of color and to forge links with others to increase our understanding of structural racism, how it operates and to develop long-term strategies to dismantle it."
