According to its website, the Charles Koch Institute "educates and trains professionals on the importance of economic freedom and how it increases well-being for the overwhelming majority of people. Through the Institute’s professional education, research, and training programs, we work to prepare professionals for careers in advancing economic freedom."[1] The Institute was created from the Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation in September 2011 as 501(c)(3) educational organization. It sponsors the Koch Associate Program, Koch Internship Program, Koch Summer Fellow Program, and Liberty@Work. The Charles Koch Institute is an "associate" member of the State Policy Network.[2]

The Koch brothers -- David and Charles -- are the right-wing billionaire co-owners of Koch Industries. As two of the richest people in the world, they are key funders of the right-wing infrastructure, including the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) and the State Policy Network (SPN). Koch Associate Program

Koch Associates work at a right-wing Washington, DC partner organization full-time while spending one day per week learning about the Koch's Market Based Management philosophy at the Charles Koch Institute.[3]

Liberty@Work Program

Liberty@Work bills itself as "a web-based professional education and training program for individuals interested in advancing economic freedom. In collaboration with state-based non-profit organizations from all across the country, participants have the chance to undergo management training for four hours every Wednesday and further expand their skills and network while working in full-time positions. Additionally, participants travel to Washington, DC for the first week of the program and meet in-person for three other professional education summits."[11]
