Derwood Chase is the founder of Chase Investment Counsel Corporation in Charlottesville, Virginia, as well as its chairman emeritus, CEO, treasurer, and portfolio manager. He is a trustee of the Reason Foundation and the Fraser Institute and a member of the Mont Pelerin Society, according to BusinessWeek.[2] He has been a board member of the State Policy Network.
