The Chewonki Foundation is a Maine-based non-profit group which organises outdoor education activities for school age children.

Carbon Capture and Storage Seminar

In 2007 the foundation, in conjunction with the Oak Foundation, funded and organized a seminar to promote "a greater understanding of coal gasification and carbon capture and storage technologies in the context of our need to reduce CO2 emissions and address global climate change".[1]
