The Chhatrasal coal mine is a proposed coal mine to supply the Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project. The 4,000 megawatt project is in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is being developed by Sasan Power, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Power.[1]

The Indian Ministry of Coal states that the mine has total reserves of 150 million tonnes of coal.[2]
