The Cobbora Coal Project is a proposed 30 million tonnes a year run of mine project to supply a new New South Wales coal-fired power station. The mine is projected to produce 20 million tonnes a year of saleable coal. The project would be located south of the village of Cobbora.[1]

A project description states that the mine Macquarie Generation, Eraring Energy and Delta Electricity have formed a joint venture to develop the project. The project would involve an open-cut coal mine, a water pipeline from the Cudgegong River, another from the Ulan coal mine and a 25 kilometre rail line to connect the mine to the existing rail network.[1] It has been estimated that the Cobbora spur line would cost $120 million.[2]
