"His background is in social welfare and HIV/AIDS community activism. He was welfare services manager at The Terrence Higgins Trust from 1989-1996 before joining the THT Board.
"Since 1996, Colin has been chief executive of two award-winning national charities (NAM Publications, 1996-2001 and Charities Evaluation Services, 2001-9), leading them both through dramatic growth and greater impact. Charities Evaluation Services won the award for effectiveness at the 2008 National Charity Awards for its achievement in increasing the impact of the charity sector.
