The Confederation of UK Coal Producers (CoalPro) describes itself as "the trade organisation representing most of the deep and surface coal producers."[1]
In recent times, CoalPro was most active during the development of a series of UK government energy policy reviews and white papers. On its website the most recent item posted to its "CoalPro News" dates back to June 2006.[2]
