Biographical Information
"Mr. Dalton T. Phillips serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Morrisons. Mr. Phillips served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Loblaw Companies Limited from January 10, 2007 to March 2010 and served as its Member of Management Board. Mr. Phillips served as the Chief Executive Officer of Brown Thomas since 2005. He had a successful career at Jardine Matheson, progressing through increasingly senior roles in New Zealand and Australia, including Regional Director of its Spanish supermarket business. Mr. Phillips was instrumental in leading revitalization and growth strategies across a diverse range of formats within its Dairy Farm retail division. Mr. Phillips joined Wal-Mart's international division in 1998, where he held a number of senior commercial roles in South America and Germany, including served as its Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He serves as a Director of Brown Thomas Group, Ltd. and FreshDirect, LLC. Mr. Phillips is a Graduate of University College Dublin and Harvard Business School." [1]
