Background

In September 2017 Kogas announced that it planned to build the Dangjin LNG Terminal. Construction of the facility would be completed in 2031, while the first of ten 200,000 cubic meter LNG storage tanks would be completed by the end of 2025. In January 2019 it was reported that the terminal's capacity will be 3.6 mtpa.
