Biographical Details
"Daniel S. Och is our founder, our Chief Executive Officer, an Executive Managing Director and the Chairman of our Board of Directors. He is also our Chief Executive Officer and an executive managing director of each Och-Ziff Operating Group entity. Prior to founding Och-Ziff in 1994, Mr. Och spent eleven years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was a Vice President. Mr. Och began his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Risk Arbitrage Department and was later Head of Proprietary Trading in the Equities Division and Co-Head of U.S. Equities Trading. Mr. Och has a B.S. in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania." [1]
