PT Darma Henwa is an Indonesian mining services company which states on its website that it provides "contract expertise in heavy equipment, bulk earthworks, general mining, construction, civil engineering and plant maintenance."[1]
The company, which was founded in 1991, was owned by the Australian mining services company Henry Walker Eltin (HWE). HWE sold the Company in May 2005. Since September 2007 it has been listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) and is now 55% owned by Zurich Assets International Ltd, with PT Indotambang Perkasa owning 4% and smaller shareholders accounting for a further 20.7%. (In its 2009 annual report Bumi Resources states that it has a 44% share in Darma Henwa through its 80% stake in Zurich Assets International).[2]
