Biographical Information

"David is President of Early-Edge Direction, a consultancy that works with innovators, entrepreneurs, and visionaries in health. David brings to this position over 20 years of business experience working with executive teams and rapid growth companies. He served as Senior Vice President for Hill and Knowlton and worked with Fortune 500 companies in public affairs, marketing communications, and issues management. He has been a prime architect in the startup of over a dozen organizations and companies. Over the past ten years he has worked with early-stage companies and visionary organizations in the healthcare industry, primarily in the areas of natural products, bioelectric medicine, and complementary and alternative medicine. At Bastyr University, the country’s pre-eminent university for natural medicine, he served for eight years as the Director of Public Affairs and Executive Advisor to the President. Today, he provides strategic business consulting to a variety of natural health sciences colleges and natural product companies, works with the boards and executive teams of four national professional organizations representing natural health practitioners, and is on several leadership teams striving to protect public choice and access to natural products."
