David Mould is Senior Vice President of Communications for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). Prior to his appointment to the position in July 2009, Mould had previously worked as assistant administrator for Public Affairs with the National Aeronautics & Space Administration.[1]
In January 2010 the Tennessean.com reported that Mould, who had been "brought in to help rehab" the TVA's "credibility after the coal ash disaster — was enmeshed at his previous job at NASA in a Bush administration controversy in which climate change scientists said they were censored."[2] The TVA stated that Mould's appointment was as "part of an executive staff change designed to strengthen TVA’s communication and relationships with public officials and other stakeholders.[1]
