Biographical Information
"Retired as Group Chief Executive of Barratt Development PLC in 2006 after 40 successful years in the housing industry in the UK and oversears. Voted the UK's Regeneration Champion in 2006, he is an occasional advisor to the Government on housing and regeneration issues. He recently co-chaired an independent review of the planning application process and is a member of an expert panel advising on the disposal of surplus public land for new housing. He is also a Trustee at the medical charity, Prostate Action and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. "[1]
