The Decker Coal Company operates the Decker Mine in Montana. The company is a 50:50 joint venture between Cloud Peak Energy and Level 3 Communication. The Decker mine is managed under contract by Peter Kiewit Sons, Inc.[1]

In November 2011 Ambre Energy said it bought a 50 percent interest in the company.[2]
