Biography
Donald Cohen was an attorney for Liggett in New York and with the firm of Webster & Sheffield. Cohen has represented Liggett since the late 1950s. He attended Princeton, Yale Law School, Fellow of American College of Trial Lawyers and won a defense verdict for Liggett in a 1969 five-week federal trial in Detroit. He was criticized by a judge for his sophisticated and calculated evasiveness. He represented Liggett in the Cipollone case. (Jenkins, p. 188).
