EMO Terminal is a coal-handling terminal located at the Maasvlakte, part of Europoort, a harbor and industrial area near the city of Rotterdam, Netherlands. Europoort is an area of the Port of Rotterdam.

Background
EMO on the Maasvlakte is the largest dry bulk terminal in Europe with a throughput capacity of approx 200,000 tonnes of coal per day and 60 million tonnes per year. EMO also has facilities for storage, screening, washing, crushing and mixing coal, as well as a floating crane for ship-to-ship handling.[1]
