Edmund Haislmaier is a Senior Research Fellow in Health Policy Studies at the Heritage Foundation, and a member of the board of directors of the National Center for Public Policy Research.[1] Among other articles for Heritage, in 2010, he authored “Obamacare: Impact on States,” and “Medicaid Meltdown: Dropping Medicaid Could Save States $1 Trillion.”[2][3]

Ties to the American Legislative Exchange Council
Haislmaier was also listed as a Health Care Task Force “Advisor” in the 1993 American Legislative Exchange Council’s “Keeping the Promise: Making Health Care Accessible and Affordable for All Americans -- A Comprehensive Health Care Plan,” manual.[4]
