The Ekbom Support Group takes its name from "Ekbom Syndrome" which has been dubbed Restless Legs Syndrome.
"The Ekbom Support Group was formed in the United Kingdom in 1988 by Mrs. Eileen Gill and now has members in many parts of the world. The aim of the group is to make the condition more widely known to the medical profession and the families of sufferers," it states on its website. [1]
