Eshraghieh and Mahmoud Rabbani Charitable Trust
The Eshraghieh and Mahmoud Rabbani Charitable Trust "is a nonprofit, tax-exempt public charity established to raise and disburse funds for charitable, religious, literary and educational purposes to promote the spiritual and social well being of the whole of humanity.
"Dr. and Mrs. Rabbani, who were long time, devoted members of the Bahá'í Faith, established this Bahá'í-inspired trust to serve as a vehicle of good works and service. While the Rabbani Charitable Trust is still in a relatively early development stage, it has become best known for its initiatives in the field of Bahá'í-related social and economic development. The Trust provided key support, early in their development stages, to Mottahedeh Development Services, the social and economic development arm of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of the United States and the Magdalene Carney Bahá'í Institute, a Regional Training Institute, in Florida. In addition, since 1993 it has annually sponsored, organized and conducted a well-known and acclaimed international Bahá'í Conference on Social and Economic Development (SED) in Orlando, Florida, each December."
