Background

The Fayetteville Express Pipeline (FEP) is an approximately 185-mile interstate natural gas pipeline that originates near Conway County, Arkansas, continues eastward through White County, Arkansas and terminates at an interconnect with Trunkline Gas Company Pipeline in Panola County, Mississippi. The pipeline carries gas from the Fayetteville Shale Gas Field. FEP delivers natural gas supplies from the Fayetteville Shale in Arkansas to communities along the route. Additionally, it provides an alternate route for natural gas when hurricanes and tropical storms disrupt offshore and coastal supplies. FEP is a joint venture between Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. and Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P.
