Ferreira coal mine is located near Ermelo in South Africa. The mine is owned by Continental Coal, a coal mining company operating in South Africa and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
The mine is projected to produce 500,000 tonnes of thermal coal in 2011. The project, which was commissioned in 2008 and bought by Continteal in late 2010, is forecast to continue through to mid 2012.[1]
