Background

Floridian LNG Terminal is a proposed LNG terminal in Florida, United States.[1] The facility was first approved in 2008, and after a six-year lull, Floridian Natural gas announced it would resume work on the LNG storage facility in May of 2014.[2] In July of 2015, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission granted the project permission to reduce the size of storage tanks due to a changed natural gas market, said to result in a shorter construction period.

There have been no development updates since 2015 and the project is presumed to be cancelled.
