Biographical Information
"Fred Swaniker is an entrepreneur with deep experience in education and leadership on the African continent. He is currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and is the Founder and CEO of the African Leadership Academy. Mr. Swaniker also founded Global Leadership Adventures, a youth leadership development programme, and was recognised as one of 15 "top emerging social entrepreneurs in the world" in 2006 by Echoing Green, and was chosen as one of 25 TED Fellows in 2009. Mr. Swaniker is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute's Global Leadership Network and holds an MBA degree from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. "[1]
