Fuel Frontiers, a subsidiary of Nuclear Solutions, states that its mission is to "plan, design, finance, construct and operate gas-to-liquid synthetic fuel production facilities intended to transform domestic coal into ultra-clean diesel. FFI is currently concentrating its efforts on coal-to-diesel projects in the state of Kentucky."[1]
