Background

Futtsu LNG Terminal is an LNG terminal in Kanto, Japan.[1]

The Futtsu LNG Terminal began operation in 1985 and was expanded in 1991. The LNG supplies the Futtsu power station (5,040 MW) as well as adjacent TEPCO power stations, including other industries in the Tokyo Bay area.[2]
