Fuzhou Port is an international seaport on the coast of Fuzhou, Fujian province, in the People's Republic of China.
The nearby Ningde Port merged with Fuzhou in 2009, leading to a total cargo throughput of 127 million tonnes in 2013.[1]

Location
The port is centered on the estuary of the Minjiang River on the coast of Fuzhou.
Background
The port serves China's Fujian Province as well as the city of Fuzhou.[2] Fujian is a coastal province in southern China that is a major consumer of imported coal for its power stations.[3] The port handles coal, as well as cement, lead, and sand.[4]
