Gaia Strategies is, according to its PR, an "public affairs" and "environmental business."[1] Its principal is Kendall Christiansen, who is also a senior consultant for InSinkerator and who was mentioned in documents obtained under an open records investigation of collusion among the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and various external individuals and entities in the defense and promotion of promoting sewage sludge as "organic biosolids compost."
