The Galilee Coal Project is an export coal mine project proposed by Waratah Coal.

The project is located 450 km west of Rockhampton. The project has yet to be approved by the Queensland government. The project would produce up to 40 million tonnes per annum of thermal coal and cost $7.5 billion to build. The project would 6000 people during construction and 1500 when operating.[1]
