Background

The Gorm Fredericia Oil Pipeline is the main trunkline to shore in the Danish sector of the North Sea. It serves all of the producing fields on the Danish shelf, with the exception of Siri, Nini, Cecilie and South Arne. An onshore section of the pipeline carries the crude to the terminal at Fredericia, which is located on the east Jutland coast. Gorm Fredericia Oil Pipeline is currently owned by Danish Oil Pipe, which is a fully owned subsidiary of Ørsted.[1]
